On Tuesday, December 23, the Michael J. Teekay Family made a donation of 20 bags of 25kg cleaned rice, the nation’s main staple, to the JNB Foundation in Rehab, Paynesville, Monrovia.

Accompanied by his wife Mrs. Teekay, Mr. Teekay said, ‘Let it please read, ‘in their own little way, they had come to give their contribution toward Liberia’s President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s humanitarian works’ through his foundation. He further assured Teekay Family would always assist whenever the need arises.

Executive Director for the JNB Foundation, Hon. Jackson K. George Jr. accepted the gift on behalf of his charity, saying that ‘at no better time the donation could have come than now.’

He assured the Teekay Family that the donation would surely serve the purpose for which it was given.
